Car Washing Goes Waterless

THE NORTH WEST SEES THE FIRST CAR DRY-CLEANERS

The age-old tradition of washing your car on a Sunday is set to become a thing of the past with the launch of a new waterless car valeting service guaranteed to revolutionise the car-cleaning industry and save the environment millions of litres of water each year.

Zero H2O, the North West’s first and only mobile waterless valeting service, offers a unique no mess, no water service that traditional valeters can’t compete with and provides a new and innovative way to keep a vehicle looking its best and achieving maximum visual impact.

Using a high-tech waterless valeting system that has been tried and tested for over 10 years in Australia and the USA, Zero H2O can valet any vehicle to a showroom finish without using a drop of water, bringing car-cleaning into the 21st century.

Managing Director of Zero H2O, Steven Brown, comments,

“Washing a car without soap and water may seem alien to most people but this high-tech method really is a leap forward in car-cleaning technology and its success has been proven for years overseas. The products we use not only clean and protect the bodywork of the car, but they also enable us to protect the environment – something which we should all be taking seriously.

“The traditional way of valeting cars not only wastes millions of litres of water each year, but also damages a vehicle’s paintwork and the pressure machines used by hand car-wash providers can cause dangerous tyre damage. It’s our mission to educate people in the North West that you don’t need to waste water to keep your vehicle looking immaculate.

Zero H2O is funded by the Prince’s Trust, supported by the government initiative, Waterwise, and has currently been added to Manchester’s Green City network which is campaigning to become Britain’s Greenest City.

Chris Philpot, Media and Campaigns Manager at Waterwise comments,

“Waterwise is dedicated to reversing the upward trend in how much water we all use at work and at home. The UK has less available water per person than most other European countries so it is essential that water efficiency becomes a part of everyone’s lives and it’s taken seriously.

“We welcome and encourage any new businesses that endeavour to help the environment and Zero H2O will be doing a great job to save the environment millions of litres of water each year.”

Zero H2O offers both private and commercial valets that can be completed in situ in the most restricted of places from multi-storey car-parks to the showroom window.
